That's 2 in a row for Will, having only just retained his gold in Italy, here he is looking very determined to take his second gold medal in Slovenia
Tom Windram & Jasmin Ould take all the top titles on offer at the Senior Closed event on Sunday following on from a great performance by the clubs young juniors the previous day.
Tom beat Chris Bartram also of Byng Hall and many times previous senior champion in the final of the men's event, Tom also won the under 21 event and the Kentish man (for Players who live north and west of the river Medway). Tom partnered by Jasmin Ould was runners up in the mixed doubles, losing to Chris & Jackie Williams in the final. Chris also went on to win the Vetts singles. Jasmin Ould won the women's event beating Jackie in the final. Tremendous results for the club yet again. Congratulations to Chumika Weerasinghe who won the U11 boys title and Ruth Marsden who won the U15 girls and U18 Girls Category II titles. Chumika was also runner up in the U13 boys event. Chumika and Ruth were ably supported by many of our other junior and cadet players including Becky Hancock (Runner Up in the U18 Girls), Isabel Webb (Runner Up in the U11 Girls), plus George Sainsbury, Luke Marsden, Noah and Oscar Csillag and Ben Gentry. It was great to see so many of our players at the Kent Closed this year and there were some great performances from all the players during the event.
