The Go-Karts are a good excuse for all the adults to become kids again. Everyone had a go at driving round the course. Even the "littlelies" had a go, with Gary controlling the speed for them as they couldn't reach the pedals.
Girl Racers
With Will owning a go-kart of his own, he was always on hand when things go wrong, or a few helpful words of instruction!!! Very helpful after Neil managed to spin the cart and break the steering rod, nice one Neil!!

After the practice laps the real competition began. Each driver had three laps and their total time recorded, the person with the fastest time the winner. This year the medal has to go to John Everest.

But although a guy won, it was only men that had crashes, so who are the better drivers?

Just hanging around
Rotunda Theme Park in Folkestone is always a good excuse for everyone to let their hair down and be a big kid for the afternoon. If the weather is good its a fun afternoon in the sun. Plus by Wednesday everyone is glad to get away from the ping for a couple of hours!
For those not in to spinning their stomachs around there's always the chance to play a leisurely game of mini golf!! Here the clubs' British League team show off their skills on the greens!!! Will demonstrating how lucky he really is, he certainly had the rub of the green!!

For those with cast iron stomachs the usual plan is to eat as many hot donuts as possible and then go on the famous Ali Baba ride. Spectators should stand well back!!
