The first season of the Byng Hall Super League came to a successful conclusion with Sharks coming out victorious.

The final league positions are shown in the Super League section, with the top three being 1st Sharks, 2nd Angles and 3rd News. In the end it was a very tightly run thing with the Sharks only winning by one point after suffering a 5-0 defeat in their final match against News This victory enabled News to swap places with Weald to gain 3rd place.

The prize money for this season was £150 for first place £100 for second and £50 for third. Next season hopefully this will increase if we can get more teams entered!!! Everyone that played in the Super League this season thoroughly enjoyed it and so we are hoping more people will want to give it a go.

The Super League now has an annual shield generously sponsored by Bribar Table Tennis. The shield will be kept on show at the Byng Hall, with the players receiving their share of the prize money!!!

The shield and cheques will be presented to the teams at a Presentation evening at the Buyng Hall on the 31st March.

It will be an informal occasion with food and drink and a chance to play some more table tennis. Please come along.
