This season sees
a change in the structure of the competition. After some problems encountered
last season with the complicated crossover system.
For the 1st Weekend there will be 5, 6 team, divisions : Premier Red, Premier
Blue, Divisions 1A, 2 & 3.
Each team will play eachother once in each division.
The top halves of Premier Red and Premier Blue will then form a new "Premier"
divison. The bottom halves "division 1". Then next season division
1A will be division 2 and so on.
Womens British League is played using a 3 woman team format, the players
ranked according to club ranking. Each player plays two singles matches,
in the format 1v2, 2v1, 3v3, 1v1, 2v3, 3v2. A win is worth 2 points and
a draw 1 point. Then unique feature of Womens British League is that all
divisions play at the same venue making it a very social occassion. |
